Counting Calories to Lose Weight?
There was a time in history when people believed that our beloved planet was flat and sailors of the time feared a fall from the flat surface if they were to sail too far in one direction.
It's funny to think of this thought process now with the knowledge we have uncovered about the shape of our planet.
It was even more recently that the people of the world believed that nothing denser than air could fly.
How wrong we were! The Wright brothers put an end to that seemingly impregnable belief.
There are so many beliefs we hold as individuals, races, human beings that are still holding us back from our next step forwards.
Life is a forwards journey and we can only move forwards when we embrace a new way of thinking.
So how about this? Have you ever tried cutting your calorie intake and lost weight...
and kept it off? If you have, I applaud you.
Seriously, you have achieved something that very few people have.
To consider counting calories as a sure fire way to lose weight and keep it off will be viewed in years to come with the same grin with which you would flash to someone talking of their fear of sailing off the edge of the planet.
Yet this belief in calorie counting has been taught for so many years by so many well meaning professionals that it has become part of our culture.
Ask anyone what to do to lose weight and most people will be able to draw on the 'calorie reduction' answer.
However, I have another thought for you.
It's not new, but it may be to you...
Your body runs on electrons, not calories! You are a mass of electrical energy and the electrical potential of what you put inside you is what you need to place your attention on.
You can consume 5000 calories per day of electron rich food (I'll cover what these are in a moment) and shed pounds of fat like they are going out of fashion.
Conversely, you could consume 1500 calories per day of acidic foods and fluids and potentially not be able to lose a single pound.
So what does this mean? Calories don't matter! Stop counting them.
Start filling yourself with electron-rich foods and fluids.
And start cutting down/out proton-rich (acidic/fat producing) foods and fluids.
Your body is storing fat so it has somewhere safe to store this excess acid that is created by your life-style choices.
The more you put proton-rich/acid producing foods and fluids into your body, the more your body will store fat.
So fill yourself with electron-rich, alkalizing foods and fluids.
Great foods to consume raw: Cucumber, Spinach, Parsley, Bell Pepper, Avocado, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Kale, Celery, Asparagus, Tomato, Lemons and Limes, healthy oils and salts, to name a few.
Get a source of alkaline green drink to add to your water.
Do this and watch the weight fall away at rates that used to be believed to be unhealthy.
As for proton-rich, acid and fat producing foods: all meat and dairy products, tea and coffee, breads, pastas and rice, among others.
Cut these down at the very least.
Meat and dairy especially should be a consideration for complete removal from your diet.
There is absolutely no goodness in meat or dairy, they bring nothing of worth to you and your body! I know, I know.
You've been taught different.
Well, does that make it correct? The world is not flat.
Objects denser than air can fly, and counting calories is not the answer to long lasting weight loss.
