Haircuts for Fine Hair for Men
- The Caesar haircut was popularized by two classic heartthrobs: Julius Caesar, the assassinated Roman Emperor, and George Clooney, as Dr. Doug Ross on the hit TV show ER.
In the Caesar cut, hair is trimmed short all over the head, and layered from about 1 to 2 inches. The bangs are cut straight across and combed forward. This works well for fine hair because it hides any thinning spots and the short length gives the illusion of thickness. - If your hair is fine, but not thinning, and you want to melt hearts, go for the shag haircut, seen on celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Keith Urban. Hair is worn longer, layered, and a tiny bit over the eyes.
When you ask your stylist for a shag, they will probably use a razor to layer or "shag" the edges and remove some bulk. No need to use excessive styling products or spend hours in the bathroom; this cut looks best when it's left a little messy. - For a short haircut that still looks hip, and adds thickness to your hair, go for the short tapper. Hair is cut short on the sides and in the back, but left longer on top. You can leave your side-burns long, too.
After showering, when your hair is beginning to dry, apply some molding cream to the top of your hair. Using a brush, style hair into a peak at the top of your head. This makes your hair look like it has volume to spare and it only takes two minutes.
